Abhishek Bansal , Executive Director of Pacific Malls, established the Group’s flagship shopping mall, Pacific Mall, a 500,000 sq. ft. development on the border of Delhi in Ghaziabad. With an experience of 5 years in construction of shopping centres, he is currently involved in developing in excess of 5 million sq.ft across major cities like Delhi, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Mathura etc.

Ajay Baijal is President and Chief Executive - CDIT (Consumer Durables, IT & Telecom) at Reliance Retail Limited, since 2006. Prior to this, he was with Reliance Communication Ltd., where he was a member of the Leadership team of the Wireless business and was Group Head of Sales; and before that he was the Chief Operating Offi cer of the Consumer Electronics Business Group of BPL Ltd. where he set up the batteries business and was on the board of BPL Soft Energy Systems Ltd. He was also a member of the CII National Committee on e commerce.

AJAY BIJLI
Chairman & Managing Director, PVR Ltd.

Ajay Bijli is the Chairman & Managing Director of PVR Limited with more than fifteen ears’experience in the film exhibition business. He pioneered the multiplex concept in India by setting up the first multiplex in the country at Saket, New Delhi.

Ajay was conferred ‘The Theatre World Newsmaker of the Year’ award for 2003 at FRAMES 2004 organised by FICCI and a special award during CineAsia 2004 for his Contribution to the Multiplex Industry in India; Entrepreneur of the Year – in the Entertainment category by the Indian Retail Forum and Delhi Ratna by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry A member of Young Presidents Organisation, Ajay is widely recognised as a credible voice for the Indian film exhibition industry.

AJAY KAUL
CEO, Domino’s Pizza India Ltd.

A graduate of IIT, Delhi and MBA from XLRI, Kaul has in a career spanning 20 years, worked in industries like Credit Cards, Airline, Express Distribution and Logistics, all within the umbrella of Service.

Kaul joined Domino’s Pizza in February, 2005 from TNT Indonesia, where he was the Country Head of TNT Express for 3 years. Kaul started his career with American Express Travel Related Services in 1989 and spent 6 years there. He went on to spend 2 years with Modiluft before moving to TNT India.

AJIT JOSHI
MD & CEO, Infiniti Retail Ltd.

Ajit Joshi has been a part of Retail and Hospitality industry both in India and internationally for over 20 years, specializing in business management, operations strategy, channel development and property management. Ajit has handled a number of portfolios, such as, Spotless Services, Orion Capital Pvt. Ltd., ITC Hotels Ltd. and Les Roches, apart from being the Project Manager at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was working with Shopper’s Stop as Vice President, Operation prior to joining Infiniti Retail Ltd.

An MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Ajit studied at Cornell University, and did his Hotel Management from Les Roches-Bluches, Switzerland and from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai.

AJOY CHAWLA
Global Business Head, Titan

Responsible for the fl agship brand Titan, The World of Titan and newer ventures like Xylys and Helios, the multi-brand retail venture, Ajoy Chawla is a mechanical engineer from Mumbai and PGDM from IIM Calcutta, who joined the Tata Administrative Services in 1990 and has been with Titan Industries Limited since 1991.

Ajoy has handled key positions across diverse functions like Sales, Retailing, International Operations, Supply Chain Management and Commercial. He was instrumental in launching Fastrack sunglasses & Tommy Hilfi ger watches in India as business head, prior to his current assignment.

Akhil Chaturvedi, 43, Director-Provogue (India) Ltd. is a science graduate and holds a masters degree in Management Studies from S.P. Jain Institute of Management Studies. Akhil leads all retail activities of the Provogue and Promart divisions, driving future expansion plans, sales and operating strategies and other retail business development. He is also on the board of Prozone Liberty International, which is the retail infrastructure arm of Provogue (India) Ltd.

An engineer by qualifi cation, Alok has been with INOX for over 8 years and has close to 23 years of work experience in companies such as Hoechst, ITC Welcomgroup & the Oberoi Group.
