Award 1 to 15 (except category 14) are open to retailers with store presence with 3 or more stores in India and with a minimum 18 months of operation as on March 31, 2017. Eligibility for all categories includes mono-brand and multi-brand retailers whose primary offering is within that category.

Definition: Retailer with minimum retail area of 25,000 sq ft per store offering a wide range of personal and home products organised into at least five distinct departments such as apparel, footwear, home appliances, furniture, jewellery, toys, cosmetics, sports goods, luggage etc.
2.IMAGES Most Admired Retailer Of The Year: Hypermarket
Definition: Retailer with minimum retail area of 25,000 sq ft per store offering a range of consumer products including food & grocery, FMCG, fashion and general merchandise.
3.IMAGES Most Admired Retailer Of The Year: Specialty Stores
Definition: Retailer of any one of the below mentioned categories.

Definition: Retailers with small standalone structure, size ranging from 50-500 square feet, open ended from one end, used as a point of sale for product or service. and are located at locations, like malls, college campuses, hospitals, work places transit points such as metro stations, etc

Definition:Nominations are invited for reatilers operating in India with a brief note on the unique idea, strategy or innovation enhancing or differentiating merchandise/ service mix and/or in-store presentation or promotion – unveiled between April 2016 and March 2017 – with details on its execution and results in terms of creating differentiation, customer or multi stakeholder engagement, increased sales/ consumption with positive feedback/ coverage/ and recognition
Retailers would present the idea, its execution strategy, implementation stages and its results in 5 minutes AV.
10 Retailers with unique Ideas selected by the Prelim Jury will be invited to present @ IRF Grand Finale – 5.30pm on 20th of September 2017 at the Renaissance, Mumbai.
A high profile jury will judge the presentations and the retailer with the best idea will be felicitated at the Images Retail Awards 2017
